Peta Wilson in BeautifulAccording to the information from the official site of Australian distribution company “Jump Street Films”, drama “Beautiful” will appear on cinema screens in March 5, 2009. Besides the brief retelling of the plot, the film announcement also includes a new capture of Peta Wilson and Aaron Jeffery.

In August of this year the cinema company “Kojo Pictures”, which holds shooting of “Beautiful”, and one of the big players of the film service market — company “Jump Street Films” — signed a Partner agreement of film distribution. According to the words of “Jump Street Films” director Jamie Bialkower, the company is particularly excited to partner with “Kojo Pictures” on its first Australian film. “It was always one of our original mission statements to deliver bold and thought-provoking cinema to audiences, wherever it's from,” — he explaines. — “‘Beautiful’ is unlike any Australian film we have seen before, and is even more impressive for being a debut feature. Dean [director Dean O’Flaherty] has crafted an indelible and highly controversial work. ‘Beautiful’ takes its cue from the idyllic but toxic suburbia rendered iconic in the best American independent films — how refreshing to see a local film take on this subject matter whilst giving it an unmistakably distinct voice of its own.”
